Join Troop 96

We are excited that you are interested in joining BSA Troop 96!  To help guide you, we have outlined the steps to take to become a member of our troop.

Begin by reviewing our Information Guide located here which will provide a good overview of Troop 96 and how we offer one of the best opportunities for Scouting in the Garden State Council.

Obtain answers to questions you have about Scouting and Troop 96

After reviewing the Information Guide, if you have questions about Scouting or want to learn more about Troop 96 you can request additional information by completing the short form on the Boy Scouts of America website located here.

Your request for additional information will be forwarded to a member of the Troop 96 leadership team and they will follow up on your inquiry. If you don’t have any questions and are ready to join Troop 96 then procced to the next step.

Complete the Scouting Application and join Troop 96

If you are ready to start your adventure in Scouting you will need to complete the Scouting Application Form on the Boy Scouts of America website located here.

Upon completing the application, the Troop 96 leadership team will be notified and will contact you and welcome you to the troop.

Attend the next Troop Meeting

Locate the next Troop Meeting on our calendar located here and attend the meeting.  You will be welcomed into Troop 96 by your fellow Scouts and the Troop leadership team and will begin your Scouting experience.
